Derrick Levasseur

Derrick Levasseur (born February 3, 1984), 32, is a police officer from Central Falls, Rhode Island. Derrick was hired as a police officer at the age of 20 and has been there for 12 years. During that time, he has worked in the Detective Division, investigating crimes, ranging from motor vehicle theft to murder. Derrick has also worked as an undercover Detective in the Special Investigations Unit, posing as a college student, a drug user, and a drug dealer, just to name a few.

At the age of twenty-three, Derrick was involved in a critical incident where he fatally shot a man who was attempting to stab him with a knife. He received the "Medal of Valor" for his actions, the highest honor an officer can receive. Instead of taking an early pension, he returned to work and has been promoted through the ranks where he now holds the title of Sergeant of the Patrol Division.

Derrick was selected to compete on CBS's hit series, "Big Brother", where he was eventually crowned the winner after beating out fifteen other houseguests. Derrick is regarded as one of the greatest players to have ever played the game. He is the only player out of all past winners to have won the game without ever being nominated. He also currently holds the record for the highest total earnings ($575,000) of any houseguest in Big Brother History.

Derrick was also worked as an investigation on Discovery ID's "Is OJ Innocent? The Missing Evidence"
